Benefits of being an ASTEMI Member
Being a member of ASTEMI means: - Being part of the Community of practice. This community share and support common goals and objectives. This is being done by combined meetings and conferences. A membership certificate is available on request.
Organizational Exposure - The member is being listed on the ASTEMI website, activities described in the ASTEMI brochure and member organization are exhibit at SAASTEC conferences.
Using ATEMI Logo – Being a member gives the organization the right to be associates with and use the ASTEMI logo.
Lead Agent Guidance – Receive guidance and support from a lead agent heading up one of the four divisions. This support could be in the form of content evaluation, season planning, data collection and reporting, volunteer recruitment and training and event management.
Simplify funding application from DSI – Since ASTEMI members conform to set requirements, they qualify to apply for possible funding when received from DSI. Non ASTEMI organizations will have to submit many more checks before application for funding will be approved.
Access to Professional Development – ASTEMI members have access to professional development supported by DSI.
